Aachen, the city of Charlemagne, has a long and impressive history. Thermal springs and their use have shaped the city since Roman times. Aachen was a spa town and developed into a center for the textile and metal industries. Thirty-two German kings were crowned in Aachen Cathedral. Charlemagne’s European tradition makes Aachen an international city, as do its border location and university.

Immerse yourself in the history of mining, which has shaped the city over the last 200 years. Where collieries and coal dominated the landscape until 2018, you can now see greenery and industrial culture as far as the eye can see. Everything is in a state of flux and very different to how you imagine the Ruhrpott.
Bremen as a city of merchants and sailors offers many other corners worth seeing in addition to the historic market square, the Böttcherstraße and the Schnoor. In the north of Bremen, the districts of Blumenthal, Vegesack and Burglesum invite you with lots of greenery and seafaring history. The universe, the drop tower, space technology – all this is Bremen!
Do not expect guided tours of the city, we show places off the tourist routes that have our heart, such as the Goethequartier with its Gründerzeit houses and its lively residents. We have listed buildings from the 50s and 60s. We can walk for hours along the dike and enjoy the lively life on it and the interaction of water, mudflats and light. Exciting are the remains of the shipyards.
Coburg is a Franconian city with 41,000 inhabitants in northern Bavaria. It has an exceptionally well-preserved old town with one of the most beautiful market squares in Germany. Above it, on a hill, is enthroned the Veste Coburg, one of the largest castle complexes in Germany, where Martin Luther stayed in 1530. The idyllic courtyard garden connects the Veste with the palace square, which is adjacent to the Ehrenburg Palace and the State Theater.

Thinking about Duesseldorf you might imagine the Königsallee, the fancy and expensive shopping street, or the Old Town, called the longest bar in the world. But Duesseldorf with its 50 districts offers much more. Beautiful streets with old Art Nouveau houses, small neighborhoods with owner-managed shops, historical and modern buildings often lie side by side. International flair combines with the original Duesseldorf Rheinish cheerfulness which makes life in this city adorable. Come and feel it !!!
If you not have been to Freiburg you missed something. Here, in the very South-West of Germany, influences of many eras, peoples and regions mix. Hamburg has everything that makes life pleasant. Hamburg is green, even in the city center around the Alster. At weekly markets, in small stores and large department stores you can find everything. The cultural scene ranges from the Elbphilharmony concert hall to small live clubs in the Schanzenviertel, St.Pauli and Eimsbüttel. The world-famous red light district on the Reeperbahn attracts night owls. And one of the largest ports in Europe connects us to the world via the Elbe river.
With around 300000 inhabitants, it is the third largest city in Baden-Württemberg. Characteristic of the original town plan are the 32 streets of the town founded in 1715 that radiate from the castle into the parks an the Hardtwald forest of the upper Rhine plain. Karlsruhe owes its nickname “fan city” to its fan-shaped layout. Friedrich Weinbrenners classicist buildings characterize the image of the city’s expansion from the early 19h century.
Meet Kassel with friends! Kassel is the home of the UNESCO World Heritage mountain park with unique water features and its landmark Hercules, of the world art exhibition Documenta, the palace with its collection of Old Masters, and many other attractions. Follow in the footsteps of the Brothers Grimm, visit some of the 25 fascinating museums, or relax in the many parks with their beautiful flower gardens. Lübeck, the former capital of the Hanseatic League, famous for its brick Gothic buildings, invites you to stroll through snickel- and passageways. We show the guests the city – but not necessarily the tourist highlights such as the prominent „Holsten Tor“.
What many people don’t know: the seaside resort of Travemünde is also a district of the Hanseatic city. There’s a lot to discover. Let yourself be surprised!
Mainz, that is the city of Gutenberg, historical Roman city and young university town, Great Wine Capital together with the region Rheinhessen, cathedral city, hotspot of carnival and creative start-up city. Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg, has a population of around 600 000 and offers its citizens a high quality of life. A city with hills, vineyards, an abundance of forests and over 300 “Stäffele” (stairway constructions) – Home of Mercedes, Bosch and Porsche. It hosts the world’s first TV tower and also the second largest mineral water deposits in Europe. Furthermore, Stuttgart is known worldwide for its ballet, its opera and theater.

Its historical roots stretch from the Romans to the Nassau residence, the world-famous spa town with its distinguished guests, to today’s capital of Hesse. This is combined with a diverse cultural life and varied gastronomy in the atmospheric neighborhoods.
Usually Wuppertal is associated with the world-famous suspension railway, called “Schwebebahn”, which trails above the “Wupper”. But there is much more to explore! Wuppertal impresses with extensive public green space, often only accessible by climbing stairs.
