Germany Greeters are volunteers who are passionate about sharing their love for their city with visitors from around the world. A Greeter will take you on a 2-4 hours walk in the city free-of-charge, showing you places, neighborhoods, and off-the-beaten-track spots. We do not work for city administration or any company – every greet you get is an independent citizen’s point of view.

Munich is the place to be!
Enjoy a cappuccino in the sun, watch the Eisbach surfers on a wild river wave or find the best beer in Munich.
As you stroll through the city with Munich Greeters, you will discover pretty houses and facades, small alleys andwonderful parks no big tourist group ever sees.
And you will hear fascinating stories about our history and our city life. To top it off, we can teach you some words of Bavarian, a difficult dialect that even people from Northern Germany do not understand. “I mog di” for example,means “I love you.”

Usually Wuppertal is associated with the world-famous suspension railway, called “Schwebebahn”, ‎which trails above the “Wupper”. But there is much more to explore! Wuppertal impresses with ‎extensive public green space, often only accessible by climbing stairs.
