Kenya Greeters welcome you

Kenya Greeters are volunteers who are passionate about sharing their love for their city with visitors from around the world. A Greeter will welcome you and take you on a 2-4 hours walk in the city free-of-charge, showing you places, neighborhoods, and off-the-beaten-track spots. You will see the city through the eyes of a local while hearing personal stories, anecdotes, cultural aspects, and experience the city in its authenticity.

Kenya, located in East Africa, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including savannas, mountain highlands, and beautiful coastlines along the Indian Ocean.It’s home to diverse wildlife, with popular safari destinationswhere visitors can see the “Big Five” animals (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Nairobi is the capital city, blending modern urban life with close proximity to natural attractions. Kenya is also known for its vibrant culture, with over 40 ethnic groups, and as a hub for distance-running champions.
