Cameroon is a Central African Country, with the largest and economics Capital City in Douala and Yaoundé. With a Population of over 25 million people, tourist literature describes Cameroon as “Africa in miniature” because it exhibits all major climates and vegetation of the continent: coast, desert, mountains, rainforest, and savanna.
The country’s neighbors are the Atlantic Ocean and Nigeria to the west; Chad to the northeast; the Central African Republic to the east; and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo to the south.
Cameroon is a bilingual Country: French and English.The English language is spoken in the South West and North Western Region of the Country accounting for over 17% of the total population.
With unique places like the Debuncha named one of the wettest places on earth; also nick named the Country of the African Soccer Kings with the Indomitable Lions; home for the world’s giant frog (Conraua Goliath 3.2kg & 34cm long); Cameroon is the second most linguistic Country with over 275 ethnic groups and languages after Nigeria; with a legal age for girls to married at 15 years; with a unique triangular map non like it in the Continent; Home for the World’s most dangerous lake( Lake NYOS, which killed over 18,000 people plus 3500 cattle in 1986; ); the best Flora and Fauna (over 409 animals species and 165 birds species), Cameroon is definitely a place where diversity collides with humanity for a beautiful and otherworldly experience.
