They will help you to explore hidden neighbourhoods and introduce you our town in a cultural, historic and architectural or in a way they know the city at its best. Every greeter has his/her own and specific itinerary and related stories
Belgium Greeters welcome you
Belgium is located in the heart of Western Europe, founded in 1830, composed of three regions and has a rich history. It is a land of splendid variety, from the coast to the Ardenne, and is known for its art cities, world heritage treasures and Belgian gastronomy (such as fries, mussels, chocolate, beer, waffles, Brussels sprouts…). It’s surface area of 30,688 km² makes it a small country but it’s location has made it the economic and urban nerve centre of Europe.

Antwerp
Antwerp is a little-known jewel of Belgium with a beautiful historic city center; a unique cathedral and important museums. Stroll in the pedestrian zone of our city center and enjoy a diverse range of shops, bars and restaurants. Or hop on and off with a bike that you can take everywhere.
Brabant Hesbaye
A landscape of cultures, scattered groves and valleys… here is Brabant Hesbaye ! We will help you to discover, through a personalized walk, the many Romanesque churches and chapels, the burial mounds, the majestic farmhouses with courtyards, the beautiful and luminous Gobertange stone… and the delicious local food and beers !
Brussels
Brussels is a city which has a lot to offer! It is a very multicultural and open-minded city. Thanks to your Greeter, you’ll be able to explore small and lovely streets, amazing Art Nouveau facades, comic strip walls, street art areas, hidden gems, unknown parks and many more. Your Greeter will share unusual anecdotes with you and you’ll potentially end up drinking a Belgian beer in a friendly atmosphere. Hope to see you soon!
Charleroi
Charleroi, a post-industrial city, fascinates those who love urban and/or underground activities. The surrounded area is formed by plateaus, open landscapes punctuated by small woody valleys and listed architectural heritage.
Hasselt
Hasselt is not only the place to be for fashion and food lovers. Hasselt Greeters will surprise you by walking through lovely streets and astonishing spots, showing the things they love in their city, the many street art paintings, the Hasselt jenever, the famous spiced biscuits (speculaas), the local stores, bars and restaurants and so much more. Greeters can also take you on a bicycle tour outside the city center such as the Herkenrode Abbey site or the beautiful nature in domein Kiewit.
Hoegaarden
Although we are one of the smallest villages in Belgium, the Hoegaarden Beer is famous around the world.In the 18th century our village counted 40 breweries. Our greeters can tell you all about it.But there is much more… all the hidden treasures… nice places… natural and agricultural landscapes… and all the unwritten stories.Come, taste and experience it yourself.We are looking forward to welcome you. Koksijde
Since ancient times, our seaside village breathes on the rhythm of the sea. Its history has been beautiful, eventful and numerous testimonies are still present for all to experience in a splendid setting. On a lighter note, let not only water sports tempt you but also the 19 holes golf court. Or try all different recipes with North Sea shrimps, the caviar of the sea and enjoy the local fine wining and dining. Your Greeter will point out all the mouth-watering possibilities.
