Belgio Greeters sono volontari che condividono con passione l'amore per la propria città con i visitatori di tutto il mondo. Un Greeter vi accoglierà e vi accompagnerà gratuitamente in una passeggiata di 2-4 ore in città, mostrandovi luoghi, quartieri e posti fuori dai sentieri battuti. Vedrete la città attraverso gli occhi di un abitante del luogo, ascoltando storie personali, aneddoti, aspetti culturali e vivendo la città nella sua autenticità.

Il Belgio è situato nel cuore dell’Europa occidentale, fondato nel 1830, composto da tre regioni e ha una ricca storia. È una terra di splendida varietà, dalla costa alle Ardenne, ed è conosciuta per le sue città d’arte, i tesori del patrimonio mondiale e la gastronomia belga (come le patatine, le cozze, il cioccolato, la birra, le cialde, i cavolini di Bruxelles…). La sua superficie di 30.688 km² lo rende un piccolo paese ma la sua posizione ne ha fatto il centro economico e urbano dell’Europa.

Greeters can also take you on a bicycle tour outside the city ‎center such as the Herkenrode Abbey site or the beautiful nature in domein Kiewit.‎
