Bonn
Whether you are interested in visiting Bonn because it is the birthplace of Beethoven or the birthplace of Haribo Gummi Bears, you will be surprised by what this small city has to offer: 2000 years of history, vibrant music festivals, neighborhoods full of 1800s architecture, beautiful parks and the Rhine river. You will be surprised about the city of the northern edge of the Rhine-Ruhr-area.
Immerse yourself in the history of mining, which has shaped the city over the last 200 years. Where collieries and coal dominated the landscape until 2018, you can now see greenery and industrial culture as far as the eye can see. Everything is in a state of flux and very different to how you imagine the Ruhrpott.
Bremen
Bremen as a city of merchants and sailors offers many other corners worth seeing in addition to the historic market square, the Böttcherstraße and the Schnoor. In the north of Bremen, the districts of Blumenthal, Vegesack and Burglesum invite you with lots of greenery and seafaring history. The universe, the drop tower, space technology – all this is Bremen!
Bremerhaven
Do not expect guided tours of the city, we show places off the tourist routes that have our heart, such as the Goethequartier with its Gründerzeit houses and its lively residents. We have listed buildings from the 50s and 60s. We can walk for hours along the dike and enjoy the lively life on it and the interaction of water, mudflats and light. Exciting are the remains of the shipyards.
Coburg
Coburg is a Franconian city with 41,000 inhabitants in northern Bavaria. It has an exceptionally well-preserved old town with one of the most beautiful market squares in Germany. Above it, on a hill, is enthroned the Veste Coburg, one of the largest castle complexes in Germany, where Martin Luther stayed in 1530. The idyllic courtyard garden connects the Veste with the palace square, which is adjacent to the Ehrenburg Palace and the State Theater.

Explore Darmstadt through the eyes of Darmstadt Greeters! See our city of science, with international institutions like » ESOC « , significant schools and universities. It is also the city of Arts, with the Art Nouveau district Mathildenhöhe, as well as the city of music. Darmstadt prides itself to our proximity to Messel (WeltNATURerbe), Odenwald and the Bergstaße, with its tremendous hiking opportunities nearby. We look forward to hearing from you.
Duesseldorf
Thinking about Duesseldorf you might imagine the Königsallee, the fancy and expensive shopping street, or the Old Town, called the longest bar in the world. But Duesseldorf with its 50 districts offers much more. Beautiful streets with old Art Nouveau houses, small neighborhoods with owner-managed shops, historical and modern buildings often lie side by side. International flair combines with the original Duesseldorf Rheinish cheerfulness which makes life in this city adorable. Come and feel it !!!
Freiburg
If you not have been to Freiburg you missed something. Here, in the very South-West of Germany, influences of many eras, peoples and regions mix. The unhurried way of living in Baden and the French savoir-vivre are building a likable connection. Architecturally, culturally and historically, Freiburg has much to offer. Enjoyment and ecology have priority here. Add to this the attractive location in the Upper Rhine Valley on the edge of the Black Forest. And even the climate is very comfortable.
Görlitz
Görlitz has a rich history and a fascinating, beautiful city ambiance. An ensemble of the Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and the early days with more than 3500 monuments – a density of seeking well-preserved monuments and character of streets and squares of different eras. The city, divided 1945 at the end of WWII, presents itself as an example of the unification of Europe, living cultural unity and diversity at the same time. Hambourg
Hambourg possède tout ce qui rend la vie agréable. Hambourg est verte, même dans le centre ville autour de l’Alster, appelé par beaucoup notre « salon ». Sur les marchés hebdomadaires, dans les petits magasins et les grands magasins, on trouve de tout. La scène culturelle va de la salle de concert Elbphilharmonie à de petits clubs live dans le Schanzenviertel, St.Pauli et Eimsbüttel. Le quartier rouge de la Reeperbahn, mondialement connu, attire les oiseaux de nuit. Et l’un des plus grands ports d’Europe nous relie au monde via l’Elbe.
Karlsruhe
Avec environ 300 000 habitants, c’est la troisième ville du Bade-Wurtemberg. Les 32 rues de la ville fondée en 1715, qui rayonnent du château vers les parcs et la forêt de Hardtwald de la plaine du Rhin supérieur, sont caractéristiques du plan d’urbanisme d’origine. Karlsruhe doit son surnom de « ville éventail » à son plan en forme d’éventail. Les bâtiments classiques de Friedrich Weinbrenner caractérisent l’image de l’expansion de la ville à partir du début du XIXe siècle.

Mannheim
Have you ever wanted to see a European city that is arranged in squares? Stroll through the urban and multicultural Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region in the middle of the Squares with lots of cafés and restaurants. Stuttgart
Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg, has a population of around 600 000 and offers its citizens a high quality of life. A city with hills, vineyards, an abundance of forests and over 300 « Stäffele » (stairway constructions) – Home of Mercedes, Bosch and Porsche. It hosts the world’s first TV tower and also the second largest mineral water deposits in Europe. Furthermore, Stuttgart is known worldwide for its ballet, its opera and theater.
Wuppertal
Usually Wuppertal is associated with the world-famous suspension railway, called « Schwebebahn », which trails above the “Wupper”. But there is much more to explore! Wuppertal impresses with extensive public green space, often only accessible by climbing stairs. Even so, the city has also a lot to offer regarding culture, art and citizen’s initiatives, such as the cultural center “Utopiastadt”.
