Newtown is an ancient city founded by the Muslim emir of Córdoba in the 9th century; Philip II made it the capital  in the 16th century. Visiting Madrid with the Greeters, you can explore the neighbourhoods from the Habsburg dynasty, those from the Bourbon dynasty, or the popular Newtown that never sleeps, full of cultural activities and shops.

The urban park, covering more than 100 hectares, the Plaza Grande, dating from 1790, the Royal Palace, built by the first Bourbon king, the gardens and streets built and lived in over a thousand years. They are all waiting for your visit.
