The ruins of Rapidum (Djouab) and Thanarusuma (Berrouaghia) attest to this Roman presence. « Greeters made in Pas-de-Calais » is an initiative of the Pas-de-Calais Tourist Board, based on a concept from New York “Big Apple Greeters”, who offer tourists the opportunity to meet with a local inhabitant who shows him around and speaks to him about “his” neighbourhood, “his” town, about which he is enthusiastic and proud. For the visitor, the meeting with this « friend » is an enriching experience. The « Greeters made in Pas-de-Calais » service is completely free of charge.

Sokode is the second-largest city in Togo with a population of around 118 852 inhabitants, it is situated in the centre of the country halfway between the tropical climate of the coast and the dry Sahel climate. Sokode is the capital of the central province and prefecture of Tchaoudjo and the city of the Kotokoli ethnic majority from which it derives its name.

Strängnäs is an inviting city by the lake Mälaren, with wll preserved buildings that survived the big fire 1871. Since 1120 Strängnäs is a bishopseat. The cathedral and buildings around remind us about different periods of time (ex. the Vikings). The center has many restaurants and different kinds of shopping and a nice harbor.
