Vallée de Munster
The Valley of Munster is a mountain community of 16 towns and villages over an area of 30 square kilometers. In France, we are the first to mount a Greeter organization for this kind of area. The valley is located in the northeast of France, in Alsace, and is situated 18 kilometers from Colmar, Frédéric Bartholdi’s hometown, and 64 kilometers from Strasbourg, the European Capital. We are a quiet place between the Vosges Mountains and the Plain of Alsace. The valley of Munster is a great place to enjoybeautiful landscapes and outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing, as well as a multitude of cultural activities such as visiting museums, traditional farms, wine tasting, or even enjoying its famous Munster cheese.
