Discover Valencia through a free personal walk with a local
Valencia is a Spanish city on the Mediterranean coast, known for its blend of old and new architecture, with a historic center featuring Gothic landmarks and a modern area with futuristic designs like the City of Arts and Sciences. Famous for its beaches, rich history, and culinary traditions like paella or horchata, Valencia’s cultural scene includes the annual Fallas festival, and it’s surrounded by fertile land, including lots of orange groves.
The earliest mention of the city (then called Valentia) is by the Roman historian Livy, who states that the consul Decimus Junius Brutus Callaicus settled the soldier veterans of the Lusitanian leader Viriathus there in 138 BCE.Â
Now you can discover all of this accompanied by a Greeter, not a tour guide, but a local who will welcome you like a friend and show you the city through their eyes!
