A charming UNESCO World Heritage village tucked away beneath the surreals of the Brenta Dolomites in the Province of Trentino, San Lorenzo Dorsino awaits you in Italy as an authentic snapshot of life that moves slowly by in unspoilt splendour. To find out more about what makes the village tick, take a free walking tour around the historic streets and find the hidden gems like ancient frescoes and peaceful vantage points.
You can gain some unique tips with our welcoming San Lorenzo Dorsino Greeters. The eager local volunteers will spend time with you exploring the village beyond the mainstream and find byways of the usual tourist trail.
The visits are conducted:
Tuesday: from 4:00 PM, we’ll take you to explore the village of San Lorenzo in Banale.
Thursday: from 4:00 PM, we’ll take you to explore the village of Dorsino

Remember: A Greet means meeting a local resident to walk around town with you as new friends. The first step will be to talk to the Greeter about the details of your personalized tour. It's not about taking part in a standardized tour, but about exploring the city with an expert volunteer .
Maximum six people!
Our core value #2 reads "Greeters welcome individuals and may serve small groups of up to six people."
The reason is that each Greet should be an opportunity to talk to each other and that seems impossible in bigger groups.
Also important: we do not mingle people from different requests but serve only you (and your friends).

It's true: Our Greeters love their city or town and they are proud to share this with guests.
How could you better discover the most interesting spots of a place?
Free service, no tipping
Our core value #3 reads "Meeting a Greeter is free of charge."
We do not follow a "give what you think is ok (but please give)" strategy. Greeters honestly do not like any tipping because what they give comes from their heart not because of any tipping expectation.

Pomeriggio magnifico passato con Alessandro.Una guida simpaticissima e coinvolgente che ci ha accompagnato in questo borgo da fiaba facendoci scoprire aspetti che solo gli abitanti del luogo conoscono. Abbiamo visto anche i caprioli!!! non essendo un giorno a calendario per questo tipo di visita Alessandro si è reso reperibile e disponibile.Grazie anche a Rosanna dell ‘ufficio turistico!! Esperienza Super top,consigliatissima.
Arrivati per qualche informazione all’ufficio turistico, ci ha accolto Rosa, la quale ci ha proposto di fare un tour guidato da uno dei loro Greeters. Fuori orario, ma con grandissima disponibilità, ci ha guidato Alessandro, regalandoci un bellissimo spaccato del suo paese, trasmettendoci l’amore per esso e la storia di cui è intriso.
