Catania is a city with many faces, open and easily visible. Its heart is the historic center, with its elegant and harmonious baroque. The sea is already here, the 20-kilometer-long beach of very clean sand to the south and the easily accessible cliffs for bathing in the north. The harbor is fascinating. From everywhere you can see Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, whose top can be easily reached by car or bus in less than an hour.
Greek Catania is almost 3000 years old, the university 700 years old. The very active Opera House is dedicated to the musician Bellini, who was born here. Look and ask for a ticket to a concert or opera show.
The city has many starred gourmets, excellent trattorias and patisseries, street food, jazz and rock venues. We are waiting for you!
