‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Free Personal Walking Tour with a Local

Discover Volgograd through a free personal walk with a local

Founded in 1589 as a fortress, Volgograd (then Tsaritsyn) gradually grew into an important river-port. Stalingrad (renamed in 1925) was a fast growing urban centre when the World War II began. One of the longest and deadliest battles in the history of the warfare raged here in 1942-1943. Quickly rebuilt and revived after the war, it became vibrant again. Now Volgograd is the capital of the region with 1 million residents. It offers many visitor attractions including the famous Mamayev Kurgan.

What our guests say

I was most honoured to be the first person to visit Volgograd for a greet. It was truly an experience. And honestly I am at a loss of words to describe it. It is not only the sensational Mamajev Kurgan and the other sights of the town, it is also the majestic Wolga and a climate that strongly reminds you to Italy in summer.
But the best thing in Volgograd are the people. I was allowed to enjoy such a warm hospitality above all from Elena and her friend.
If your soul needs a rest, Volgograd is the place to be.
