Discover Dalat through a free walk with a Local
Located in the beautiful mountainous region of Vietnam, Dalat is a cooler alternative to many other destinations in Vietnam and affectionately known as the ‘City of Eternal Spring’. With its cool breezes, overcast mornings and European style buildings, it is the perfect place to wander around. A free walking tour is the best way to really find the hidden treasures, and it will show that Dalat is so much more than the cities around it.
Wander some of the streets surrounding the lake of Xuan Huong, a beautiful place to walk around before breakfast or before bed. Look at the unique buildings, built in the form of French villas, hidden amongst the hills, and chat with the knowledgeable and welcoming guides who will show you the city beyond the guidebooks. Make sure to contact Dalat Greeters before you arrive, so that you see the city through the eyes of the locals. Away from the tourist trail you will find the most tranquil side to Dalat and gain the insiders tips to find the more genuine sides to the city.

Remember: A Greet means meeting a local resident to walk around town with you as new friends. The first step will be to talk to the Greeter about the details of your personalized tour. It's not about taking part in a standardized tour, but about exploring the city with an expert volunteer .
Maximum six people!
Our core value #2 reads "Greeters welcome individuals and may serve small groups of up to six people."
The reason is that each Greet should be an opportunity to talk to each other and that seems impossible in bigger groups.
Also important: we do not mingle people from different requests but serve only you (and your friends).

It's true: Our Greeters love their city or town and they are proud to share this with guests.

Free service, no tipping
Our core value #3 reads "Meeting a Greeter is free of charge."
We do not follow a "give what you think is ok (but please give)" strategy. Greeters honestly do not like any tipping because what they give comes from their heart not because of any tipping expectation.

We felt like meeting a friend in a city we have never been before. Dalat Greeters is the best way to get to know the city and people a bit more. We can’t recommend them enough, they are great!
We were delighted to meet Michael in Dalat as our Greeter. He showed us the places of interest and shared interesting stories of the places. We were also able to share and learn of the different cultures, lifestyle and education systems of our 2 countries.
