Nairobi
Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is a vibrant city known for its rich cultural heritage, modern skyline, and close proximity to wildlife. It’s one of Africa’s major economic and business hubs, attracting visitors with a unique blend of urban life and natural attractions. Nairobi National Park, located just outside the city center, offers a rare opportunity to see lions, giraffes, and rhinos with the city’s skyscrapers as a backdrop. Karlsruhe
With around 300000 inhabitants, it is the third largest city in Baden-Württemberg. Characteristic of the original town plan are the 32 streets of the town founded in 1715 that radiate from the castle into the parks an the Hardtwald forest of the upper Rhine plain. Karlsruhe owes its nickname “fan city” to its fan-shaped layout. Friedrich Weinbrenners classicist buildings characterize the image of the city’s expansion from the early 19h century.

Caux Seine Normandie
This piece of Normandy is located a stone’s throw from the sea between Rouen and Le Havre. Nestled in a regional natural park, there is no shortage of nature activities and there is no shortage of heritage: castles, abbeys, museums… There are many possibilities for Greets. Dunkirk

Cantal
The Cantal department takes its name from the main mountain range that covers it. It is a vestige of an ancient volcano with a diameter of almost 60 km (the largest in Europe). Cantal has an ancient and rich heritage thanks to the large number of Romanesque churches, castles, medieval cities, villages of character, burons (stone buildings, covered with flagstones or slates).

Avesnois
Avesnois is located in the south-east of the Nord department, bordering Belgium to the north and east and Aisne to the south, close to the Ardennes. The landscapes of Avesnois are green, and constitute an exception compared to the rest of the department: meadows, bocages, deciduous forests, winding rivers, mills and picturesque villages.
Lima
Lima was named by natives in the agricultural region known by native Peruvians as Limaq. It became the capital and most important city in the Viceroyalty of Peru. Following the Peruvian War of Independence, it became the capital of the Republic of Peru (República del Perú). Around one-third of the national population now lives in its metropolitan area.
Doha
Doha was founded in 1850 and was first called Al Bida. In 1883, Sheikh Kassim’s battle against the Turkish army took place here. In 1916, the city became the capital of the British protectorate of Qatar, and it was not until 1971 that Doha received its present name and became the capital of an independent state. Doha is known for its modern architecture, high-rise buildings, and luxurious shopping malls.
Boksburg
Founded in 1887 following the discovery of gold, Boksburg was named in honor of W. Eduard Bok, the State Secretary of the South African Republic. Known for its rich mining history, Boksburg has evolved into a significant gold-producing town on the Witwatersrand, showcasing a blend of cultural heritage and contemporary charm.

Shanghai
Welcome to Shanghai! The biggest city in China,one of the world’s economics center, the mixture of the modernity and tradition. Shanghai represents China’s fast-growing economics and its transformation for past decades. It was once a fishing village from its establishment. During 19th century, Shanghai got reputation from its primary role in transportation with foreign country. Shanghai as always demonstrates inclusive attitude to accept world’s diverse culture to its local tradition.
Dalat
Due to the natural advantages of the climate as well as the great creativity of the people, Dalat has famous places that cannot be compared in any place in Vietnam. It’s lake, waterfalls and pine forests are amazing and attract many visitors from all over. Ouagadougou
Ouagadougou is the political capital of Burkina Faso, founded in the 11th century by the Nyonyonsés. Its current population is estimated to exceed 22 million by 2022. Ouagadougou is located roughly in the center of the country, in the province of Kadiogo, in the middle of an intertropical zone with a tropical savannah climate, with two seasons: the dry season and the rainy season.
Ouagadougou’s inhabitants are known as Ouagalais.
Bath
Bath is built on seven hills, like Rome, and is named after the hot springs that attracted the Romans during the 1st century. Legend has it that the mineral waters cured Bladud, the father of King Lear, of leprosy. Its historical importance is underlined by the size of the Abbey where Edgar the Peaceful was crowned King of all England in 973 AD. The Georgians came here for the marriage market and left the iconic architecture for which the city was awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO.

The pearl of Chinese history, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. I touched the history of thousands of years ago with my own hands. I stepped on the wooden stairs inside the tower and ascended step by step, the sun shining on my face at the top of the tower and the wind blowing my hair. Looking down on the whole Chang’an, I couldn’t help but think of Du Fu’s majestic words of praise, “The high standard spans the sky, and the gale is endless”. When the monk Xuanzang brought back all the Buddhist scriptur.

The Bay of Morlaix is located in northern Finistère, in Brittany. From the crests of the Monts d’Arrée to the beaches and coastal paths, this territory steeped in history, where the lights play with the seasons, is labeled “Land of art and history”.
The old Celtic culture is pretty well preserved here. People are strong characters, they have been peasants or fishermen for centuries. The land is poor on granite bedrock, the sea is dangerous. You’ll still feel this in your greeters heart.

Coburg
Coburg is a Franconian city with 41,000 inhabitants in northern Bavaria. It has an exceptionally well-preserved old town with one of the most beautiful market squares in Germany. Above it, on a hill, is enthroned the Veste Coburg, one of the largest castle complexes in Germany, where Martin Luther stayed in 1530. The idyllic courtyard garden connects the Veste with the palace square, which is adjacent to the Ehrenburg Palace and the State Theater.

The ruins of Rapidum (Djouab) and Thanarusuma (Berrouaghia) attest to this Roman presence. « Greeters made in Pas-de-Calais » is an initiative of the Pas-de-Calais Tourist Board, based on a concept from New York “Big Apple Greeters”, who offer tourists the opportunity to meet with a local inhabitant who shows him around and speaks to him about “his” neighbourhood, “his” town, about which he is enthusiastic and proud. For the visitor, the meeting with this « friend » is an enriching experience. The « Greeters made in Pas-de-Calais » service is completely free of charge.
