Greeters welcome and are happy to meet people inRome. If you like to have a walk in Rome and its surroundings through the eyes of a local, do not hesitate to contact us! From the historic center to other neighborhoods in Rome, from local markets to shopping streets, you will see that the Roman territory is rich in surprises in the cultural, architectural, historical, artistic, and, why not, gastronomic fields. A stroll downtown, a chat over coffee, will be the opportunity to hear our suggestions on places to visit. Experience the real Roman lifestyle as an insider with a local volunteer!

Rome Greeters are volunteers who will share their love for the city with you in an enthusiastic and hospitable manner. A Greeter will walk with you through the city for a couple of hours and help you experience Rome in a unique way. For families, friends or people traveling solo – a truly enriching experience and its absolutely free!
