Greeters welcome visitors to Rome. If you want to discover Rome and its surroundings through the eyes of a local, do not hesitate to contact us! We are a group of volunteers who love our city and its surroundings and are ready to share the numerous local attractions with visitors.
From the historic center to other neighborhoods in Rome, from local markets to shopping streets, from the former Jewish Ghetto to frescoed churches, from ancient Rome to the present-day city, you will discover that the Roman territory is rich in surprises in the cultural, architectural, historical, artistic, and, why not, gastronomic fields. A stroll downtown, a chat over coffee, will be the opportunity to hear our suggestions on places to visit
Qui sont les Greeters?
Rome Greeters are volunteers who will share their love for the city with you in an enthusiastic and hospitable manner. A Greeter will walk with you through the city for a couple of hours and help you experience Rome in a unique way. For families, friends or people traveling solo – a truly enriching experience and its absolutely free!
