Rome Greeters are volunteers who give guests an authentic insight into life of their city. They are not city guides. For guided tour of monuments and museums, please visit tour guides website. The meetings focus on the dialog between guests and greeters. All guests can expect the kind of walk you would take with friends, a conversation at eye level about cities where guests and greeters live.

Recuerda: un Greet consiste en quedar con un residente local para pasear por la ciudad como nuevos amigos. El primer paso será hablar con el Greeter sobre los detalles de tu visita personalizada. No se trata de participar en una visita estándar, sino de explorar la ciudad con un voluntario experto .

Nuestro valor fundamental nº 2 readsdice "Los Greeters dan la bienvenida tanto a visitantes individuales como a grupos de hasta 6 personas.".
La razón es que cada saludo debe ser una oportunidad para hablar con los demás y eso parece imposible en grupos más grandes.
También es importante: no mezclamos a personas de diferentes solicitudes, sino que te servimos sólo a ti (y a tus amigos).

Servicio gratuito, no hay propinas
Nuestro valor fundamental nº 3 dice: "Conocer a los Greeters es gratis".
No seguimos una estrategia de "da lo que creas que está bien (pero por favor da)". A los Greeters honestamente no les gusta ninguna propina porque lo que dan viene de su corazón no por ninguna expectativa de propina.

Une visite très appréciée. Giulia, qui parle un français impeccable, a été extrêmement généreuse de son temps, nous avons fait une longue ballade qui alternait entre les endroits historiques et les petits coins moins connus.

Che piacere incontrare Patrizia il mio prima giorno a Roma -dopo trent’anni. Lei mi a mostrato la sua Roma, piccole poste nascoste vicino campo dei fiori. Abbiamo preso caffè e abbiamo mangiato pizza a taglia insieme.
Patrizia e una persona gentile e simpaticissima. Lei aveva tanto pazienza lasciando mi parlarva in italiani, ma era disponibile parlare inglese quando non riescevo capire.
