We, the Salzburg Greeters, aim to showcase aspects of Salzburg through very personal encounters with our guests – aspects that newcomers to the city might not even be aware of. Mozart, The Sound of Music, and the city’s other world-famous attractions may come up during our Greets, but they don’t have to. It’s best if we meet at a favourite spot – for example, a traditional coffeehouse or beer hall – where we can have a good chat and discover topics and places that are of particular interest to our guests.
We want to offer friendly experiences that become highlights of your vacation. All of this without tips, thanks solely to Austrian hospitality. Be our guest—let us surprise you!

Recuerda: un Greet consiste en quedar con un residente local para pasear por la ciudad como nuevos amigos. El primer paso será hablar con el Greeter sobre los detalles de tu visita personalizada. No se trata de participar en una visita estándar, sino de explorar la ciudad con un voluntario experto .
Máximo seis personas
Nuestro valor fundamental nº 2 readsdice "Los Greeters dan la bienvenida tanto a visitantes individuales como a grupos de hasta 6 personas.".
La razón es que cada saludo debe ser una oportunidad para hablar con los demás y eso parece imposible en grupos más grandes.
También es importante: no mezclamos a personas de diferentes solicitudes, sino que te servimos sólo a ti (y a tus amigos).

Nuestro valor fundamental nº 1 dice: "Los Greeters son voluntarios, una cara amigable para aquellos que visitan una ciudad o destino.".
Es cierto: nuestros Greeters aman su ciudad o pueblo y están orgullosos de compartirlo con los huéspedes.

Servicio gratuito, no hay propinas
Nuestro valor fundamental nº 3 dice: "Conocer a los Greeters es gratis".
No seguimos una estrategia de "da lo que creas que está bien (pero por favor da)". A los Greeters honestamente no les gusta ninguna propina porque lo que dan viene de su corazón no por ninguna expectativa de propina.

Andreas was amazing from our first contact through our entire greet. He was very easy to communicate with on line before we met and during the entire «greet». I think I was very lucky to get involved with Salzburg greeters as they start to ramp up so he was able to provide an abundance of detail and time. It is always fun for me to be able to talk with people who live in the areas I visit. He offered suggestions for dining as well as how to organize my visit. We hiked a bit and biked a bit as well as walking through all the secret points of the old city. I think all my future International Greeter visits in other cities will be a mere shadow of what the Salzburg Greeters provided. Thank you Andreas! Der Spaziergang mit Michael samt Einkehr im Biergarten über den Dächern Salzburgs war eine wunderbare Begegnung für unsere Familie – zum einen mit Salzburg, aber auch mit Michael. Wir haben viel Wissenswertes, Interessantes und Lustiges über die Stadt erfahren und durch die Tour Ecken gesehen, die wir ohne unseren Greeter sicherlich nicht gesehen hätten. Eine wunderbare Erfahrung
