The Pordenone Greeters welcome you.
If you would like to discover Pordenone and the surrounding area through the eyes of a local, don’t hesitate to contact us! We are a group of volunteers who love their city and the surrounding area and are ready to share the many local attractions with visitors.
From the historic center to the suburbs of Pordenone, from the Noncello River Park to the Pasolinian sites of Casarsa, to Sacile city of water, to the historic center of San Vito al Tagliamento, and more. You will discover that the Pordenone area is full of surprises in the cultural sphere (for example, with the festivals Pordenonelegge and Le Giornate del Cinema Muto), but also natural, historical, artistic and, why not, even … food and wine. A walk downtown or an exploratory bike ride, a chat over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine will be an opportunity to hear our suggestions on places to visit.
The Basilica of Aquileia and the Grado lagoon are only an hour away.
Contact our Greeters: you’ll get lots of pointers on routes you won’t find in a travel guide and you’ll have friendly contact with an authentic Pordenonean. Our support is free of charge.
