Zur Erinnerung: Ein Greet bedeutet, dass Du einen Einheimischen triffst, der mit Dir als neuer Freund durch die Stadt geht. Der erste Schritt besteht darin, mit dem Greeter über die Einzelheiten Eurer persönlichen Tour zu sprechen. Es geht nicht um die Teilnahme an einer standardisierten Tour, sondern darum, die Stadt mit einem erfahrenen Freiwilligen zu erkunden.

He explained various places around Seattle from the spot with the best view of the city, and it was amazing. Before the tour, he sent me a file with detailed travel information about Seattle, which was incredibly helpful. Even now, I sometimes look through the file he gave me and plan trips based on the routes he recommended. I’m really grateful.
We had the pleasure of discovering Seattle through the eyes of Gladys as part of the Greeters program, and what a great experience it was!
Gladys took the time to warmly welcome us and show us around the heart of the city, from iconic landmarks to less known places or shops. She shared stories about Seattle’s history and evolution, and made us feel truly connected to the city.
Her kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine love for Seattle were contagious. She tailored the visit to our interests, making it personal and engaging — from strolling through Pike Place Market to exploring downtown highlights.
We are deeply grateful for her generosity, knowledge, and vibrant spirit. It was more than a tour — it felt like a walk with a local friend.
