Seoul is the capital city of the Republic of Korea. It is located in the center of the Korean peninsula. It has been a capital for over 600 years and harmonized with old and new. Seoul is the center for culture, education, politics, economy, and finance. Seoul is a metropolitan city with over 10mil. people. Seoul is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Hiking and walking along the fortress are common outdoor activities.
And the Hangang river runs in the middle of Seoul. Old Seoul in the north of the river and New Seoul in the south. The Hangang River parks are a favorite place for Seoul citizens for leisure such as jogging, bicycling, camping, picnicking, and enjoying fried chicken. There are five royal palaces with a royal shrine but full of museums, traditional markets, and shopping malls. 24 hours and night markets and restaurants. We may say “The city never sleeps”.
And you shouldn’t miss Hongdae street for K-pop dance and music, bars and cafes for the young.
Every weekend, many young are coming to show up their talents in the street.
